Granulated soy wax
Soy wax for candle making has a beautifully glossy and firm surface after cooling. We supply the wax in granule form, allowing you to measure out exactly the amount of wax you need for your candle making.
You can choose from two variants:
- variant 1: package 500 g;
- variant 2: package 1 kg.
500 g of wax granules = approx. 900 ml solid = 600 ml melted wax
Heat the wax in the container slowly over medium heat until it reaches a temperature of 70 °C. If you don't have a thermometer handy, heat the wax until it is all melted and then cast. The wax must not come to the boiling point.
Stir the wax continuously as it melts. We recommend heating in a water bath and not over a direct flame.
When the wax is completely melted you can add colour and fragrance (maximum 5-10% of the wax volume).
Submission:
- The candle must cure for at least 48 hours before lighting for the first time.
- Never melt wax in the microwave!
- Never leave a lit candle unattended.
