Sea&Geode epoxy resin
Transparent epoxy resin for casting with a layer thickness of 1 to 5 mm. It is very dense, making it perfect for creating paintings – imitations of the sea and Geode Art. This crystal resin is also suitable for creating beautiful flowers created by painting coloured resin into a transparent base. Thanks to its density, it mixes very slowly, offering endless possibilities for creating beautiful patterns.
For the production of sea foam, we recommend using the resin in combination with WAVE effect powder.
This resin is suitable for casting into silicone molds from our offer.
The resin is supplied with hardener. The quantity purchased is the sum of the weight of components A and B. The resin cures after mixing the two components, i.e. without a lamp. A UV lamp has no effect on its curing.
Mixing ratio: 100 : 70 (by weight).
Producer: RESIN PRO ITALY
Clouding of the A component of resins (milky colour, white pieces, lumpiness, etc.) is a common phenomenon caused by storage at temperatures below 20 °C (in storage, during transport, etc.). If clouding is detected when casting component A, do not mix the resin with component B. First, place the sealed bottle with ingredient A in a warm water bath (50-70°C) for 20-30 minutes and the cloudiness will disappear. Let cool and then process.

Sea&Geode Epoxy Resin is a very thick resin with a consistency like honey. Its consistency makes it ideal for more precise construction work such as creating stone cuts (geodes), seashores and floral designs. The resin is very pliable when working. After curing, it has a solid, mirror-shiny and completely smooth surface. It has high protection against humidity during the curing process.
It is fully transparent and can be applied in layers of approx. 5 mm. In the case of higher castings, we recommend casting it in layers, after partial or complete hardening of the bottom layer. It can be well coloured and pigmented. Cures in approx. 24-48 hours, easy to work and polish. It has excellent mechanical properties, high strength and cohesion.
