How does the movement work?

Inside the model there is a rubber-band (spring-powered) mechanism. When wound up, the drive stores energy under tension. Once released, the energy is gradually transferred through a system of gears, setting the model in motion.
After winding, the model moves on its own and works completely without batteries – purely mechanically.
